This is inside The Row, and parking in the garage is free for 2 hrs. We came for lunch on a Sunday, and there was plenty of indoor seating. It's very casual, and it does feel like you're having a picnic with the bench/table seatings. We ordered the following: Golden Chicken Sandwich - we got this spicy for 1 extra, and this sandwich was the bomb. The flavor of the fried chicken was seasoned really well, and the alfalfa sprouts completes this perfect sandwich. The pickled peppers bring the heat for sure, and I recommend it. This sandwich was easy to eat, and the bread on this was really soft and not thick, making it not messy and great to eat. Yaki Imo - if you like Japanese sweet potato and ume, you'll like this. Salmon Onigiri - the rice is made with ginger and soy sauce, and it has flaky salmon on the inside. This was good, and I think I'd just stick to the Ginger Onigiri, since the rice mixture itself has already really good flavor. The service was very nice and helpful. This would be a place I'd be a regular at for the sandwich.

Went here for dinner and had a chicken sandwich. I loved it and really enjoyed the sandwich. It's a low frills restaurant where you order at the counter, get your own water and bus your own tables, but they do bring your food to your table. We ordered chicken tenders, chicken sandwiches, french fries and family chicken basket which comes with slaw salad, pickles, fries and 2 onigiri (rice balls) and dipping sauces. I really enjoyed everything and the dipping sauces are quite varied and gives the chicken different flavors. If you love fried chicken (karaage) Japanese style then this place is definitely worth a try.

Guided here by @kezpezfood on IG. Really enjoyed the sandwich (with the one dollar added “spicy” component. Full flavored. The staff was lovely and warm. The yuzuade was delicious but I need to stop buying drinks at these places. Water gang, rise! I would definitely get this sandwich on occasion if I lived nearby. Nice decor as well.

I absolutely recommend this place for the best gluten free fried chicken in LA! it’s so crispy and tasty we are 100% coming back here to try more items on the menu and to get the family bucket. The lady who served us was also so nice and kind. Everything we ordered was so tasty, even the pickle and the green sauce - outstanding. Can’t wait to come back for more. Also it’s important to note that they validate parking

I’ve been coming back to Pikunico ever since they first opened. The menu and taste is consistent, and I’d say that it’s fried chicken that doesn’t make you feel heavy or bogged down after finishing it, which is nice. That being said, I tried the spicy option (which is new to me), and while the taste was good, I’d skip it next time because the chili oil makes the sandwich a bit of a mess. The service and ambiance is nice and chill, so this always makes a great lunch time escape.

I saw this restaurant on Worth It and have been meaning to come here for years. The wait was well worth it. This is hands down the best fried chicken sandwich I have ever had. It's clear the thought and love that was put into the sandwich, the combination of flavors was absolutely delightful.

Delicious fried chicken. We had the sandwich, tenders and yaki imo (Japanese sweet potatoes). All were good but the sandwich was the best. The tenders come with dipping sauces (aioli, sesame and sweet). The place is pretty small but was not busy on a Sunday for lunch. Would definitely return.

The restaurant in clean and cozy with accents. The staff walked me through the gluten-free options, which is almost everything. At 23.00 for a bowl 1 for spicy, coke, and 20%, this is an amazing meal. The pickled veggies, withe the spicy chicken, with rice was a great mix of flavors. I'm not from CA, but can't wait to come back
